$60 for an oil change?! Every time I need to change the oil, I say I'll do it myself but never get around to it. Unlike the Camry, I need to put the Civic on ramps to access the oil filter, and that always makes me uneasy. I imagine the car squishing me as I'm under it.
Because I think saving about $50 is worth more than the threat of death, I'll probably change the oil myself next time.
r-to-the-ipped off, bro. commonwealth does it for $18.88, if you can get an appointment. or just ask me for oil and buy a filter. i usually have a case of oil handy. i changed mine last weekend for the cost of filters. you really can't get at the filter without ramps? have you tried removing a wheel?

Well, I also got an air filter, and the oil was the better type...
They do the old drain-the-oil-before-charging trick. It's not like you can drive away from the garage if you disagree with the price. Gets em every time.
