New Slang

Not to be overly dramatic, but although I'm starting a new and exciting job tomorrow, my personal life is once again up in the air.

Is it too much to ask my best friend and companion to be supportive rather than resentful? Is it unreasonable to expect that I won't be manipulated and made to feel like crap by someone I care about? Is relative stability even possible?

To me, stability doesn't mean boring routine and a constrained life -- it just means that I'm not forced to think about where I'm going to live (and with whom) every weekend. It means I don't have to become a mind reader to understand my partner, and that my partner will make some small effort to maintain the partnership rather than running away from home any time something doesn't go well.

I know I'm ranting, but what better purpose for a blog than for passive aggressive venting when all modes of communication are suppressed?

Now is not a good time to have to move (not that I want to move anyway), but I can't go on being treated like garbage because of someone else's whim or uncontrolled anger.
