Coping With Loss
Or, how to lose 5 pounds in one week... Everybody handles loss and pain in different ways. I'm still trying to figure out how I should best handle these situations, but the approach I've taken in the past week has teetered between an introspective confusion and near-meltdown. It turns out I can't sit through a movie at the moment — particularly one about suicide (even if it does feature Samantha Morton naked). I met a girl today who asked, "wouldn't it be weird if you were living just one block away from your true life?" And then she basically disappeared. Yes, that would be weird....
